This self-directed learning course is designed for healthcare professions educators who want to learn about and improve their skills in writing and reviewing SBAs (Single Best Answer items). It is suitable not only for beginners but also experienced item writers who want to expand their skills in writing in more ‘difficult’ areas. The faculty have over 25 years of item writing expertise, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as for numerous healthcare licensing bodies, in the UK, Australia and internationally.

Course Description

Participants who register for this course can peruse the materials at their own pace. Guidance will be offered in video presentations on writing SBAs (with tips on how to incorporate clinical material, avoid common errors).

The last module will focus on reviewing your items for quality assurance.

Fees

SGD$380 per participant
