Professor Jennifer Williams is Faculty Dean, Medicine and Health, at the University of New England in Australia.
Jen is the former Director of Clinical Training for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and continues her clinical work there as a specialist emergency physician. In her previous academic role, Professor Williams spearheaded the establishment of the Griffith University Doctor of Medicine program at the Sunshine Coast, the first end-to-end medical program in the region.
Jen has primary medical qualifications from the University of Queensland, a Master of Clinical Education from Bond University and is a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
Professor Williams is an examiner and item writer for the Australian Medical Council and has undertaken consultancy and facilitation for institutions including the Australian Council for Education Research and Curtin University.
